The service
Don't Get Swept sends free reminders about City of Chicago street sweeping, based on the City's published 2026 schedule and section map. It's provided by Par72 Labs, LLC as-is. We are not the City of Chicago. The City can change dates, and temporary signs posted on your block always override anything we send. We're not responsible for tickets, tows, or missed messages, so please keep an eye on the signs too.
SMS program terms
Text reminders are coming soon; these terms apply once they launch. Email reminders are live now.
- Program: DontGetSwept street sweeping reminders.
- What you'll get: a confirmation text (reply YES to start), then recurring automated reminders the evening before (about 7:30pm) and the morning of (about 7am) each sweep day for your address, typically about 4 messages per sweep pass, April through November, plus replies to keywords you send.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out any time: reply STOP (or 3, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT). You'll get no further texts except a confirmation. Reply START to resubscribe.
- Help: reply HELP, see our help page, or email hello@dontgetswept.com.
- Other replies: 1 (tip link), 2 (update your address).
- Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. The service is free.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Email reminders arrive the evening before each sweep day. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Tips
Tips are optional, voluntary payments to Par72 Labs, LLC processed by Stripe. They're payments to a for-profit company, not charitable gifts, so they aren't tax-deductible. They don't buy extra features. If you tipped by mistake, email hello@dontgetswept.com within 14 days and we'll refund it.
Fair use
Only sign up numbers and emails you own or are allowed to use. Don't abuse the service. We can end signups that do.
The legal bit
